The Artist Behind the Paintings

I'm Ron Alblas, an artist based in Belgium with a deep appreciation for horses and the landscapes they call home.

My work moves between realistic landscapes and more expressive interpretations of horses. I'm drawn to changing light, open spaces, quiet moments and the feeling of freedom that horses bring to a scene.

Some paintings are calm and atmospheric; others are more energetic or abstract. What connects them is not a particular style, but the emotion and atmosphere I want to capture.

Where Horses Roam is a way of sharing that world beyond my studio. Each canvas print offered here is a reproduction of an original painting created by me.

My connection with horses and the landscapes they inhabit goes beyond painting. It's about the atmosphere, the quiet moments and the sense of freedom that draws me to them. With Where Horses Roam, I share that feeling through my paintings.

Thank you for taking the time to discover my work.
